On January 8, according to Nielsen Korea, “Hwayugi” drama hits a high viewership rating on its episode 4 despite the recent safety and production issues.
In the recent episode, “Hwayugi” recorded 6.1 percent viewership, an increase from the previous episode which is only 5.6 percent. “Hwayugi” returned to its regular broadcast schedule on January 6 after the incident happened which caused severe injury on some of the production crews and staffs.
The management also assured that they made an additional adjustment in safety standards on their facility and management. Previously, they also announced the addition of a new director on their production set.
